National Junior Honor Society

Our seventh and eigth grade students will now have the opportunity to become memebers of the National Junior Honor Society. Final determination of membership is based on the decision of the faculty council. Students will not become eligible for membership until the second semester of school.
Criteria for Membership
- Student must have a minimum 4.5 grade point average
- The recommendation of 2 staff members
- Student must be actively participating in a minimum of 2 extra-curricular or co-curricular activities
- Student must be involved in a minimum of one activity outside of school (i.e. youth group)
- A student can have no more than two disciplinary points in a school year
Post Acceptance to Society
- Members will be required to conduct an individual service project as approved by the faculty council
- Members will also be required to conduct a group service project annually as determined by the Chapter
Failure to maintain the aforementioned criteria can result in dismissal from the Chapter.
