Referral Process

4th Year - Goal & Process: Assistance with Academics, attendance, Behavior, and Health

• First step: K.A.T.A. Team Contact Person routinely obtains referrals
• Referrals are brought to Team meetings
• Any student who hits the "target" population will be referred to a team member for case management

3rd Year - Goal & Process: Bully Free School same as below

2nd Year - Goal & Process: Bully Free School

• Our first step will be to educate faculty and staff on the behaviors of a "bully" and a "vicitim."
• Our second step will be to build student awareness of bullying behaviors and what they should do if encountered.
• The third step is as follows:
• K.A.T.A. Team Referral Coordinator routinely obtains reports from principal
• Reports are brought to Team meetings
• Any student who hits the "target" population will be referred to a team member for case management

1st Year - Goal: To reduce tardies and absences

• K.A.T.A. Team Referral Coordinator routinely obtains tardy/absent reports from office secretary
• Reports are brought to Team meetings
• Any student who hits the "target" population will be referred to a team member for case management
