Dear HMS Families,

The number of students attending school in-person continues to increase and we look forward to having everyone back in school. We've had zero transmission or contraction of the COVID virus at school as we ensured safety protocols were in place and followed.

We shall return to in-person learning five days a week beginning Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Wednesdays will no longer be remote learning days for all students. The student schedule will be from 8 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

A remote option will still be available for families, but I would again like to reiterate that we have data that indicates that HMS is safe for our students. We would be ecstatic to see even more students return to in-person learning, so if you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at or Principal Wilkerson at

If you would like for your child(ren) to return to in-person learning, please contact Kelsey Emmons at Our goal is to have our students back Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 3:00 PM later this spring and we're cautiously taking steps toward this goal. Thank you for your continued support and flexibility.
