CONGRATULATIONS to 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Brink !!!
Happy New Year!
As you may be hearing, a couple of local schools are going to remote instruction due to staffing shortages. We are fortunate at HMS, and at this time, we are able to staff our classrooms. Therefore, HMS will not be having remote instruction. We will continue to do everything possible to keep our students learning in-person. Thank you.
Shout out to our social worker, Ms. Lange, for working with our community to provide for our families in need this holiday season. We would like to thank the following organizations for helping HMS make this possible: Swansea Rotary Club, Mission Thrift, Swansea Police Department, Westview Baptist Church, Brooklyn Bulls, Swansea Improvement Hall, HMS Student Council, FCB Banks, The Village of Swansea, Sueโs Corner-Granite City, HMS BoE members and HMS staff who adopted a family. HAPPY HOLIDAYS #HMSFamily
